  • GUI4CBM4WIN Version 0.6.4 - Tested Thoroughly

The last couple of releases didn’t get tested too well, but I’ve spent two days working on this release and testing things as thoroughly as possible. If you find a bug, please let me know!

    Fixes:

    • Default Directory now works.
    • Using a different directory on the PC now works for all transfers

    Changes:

    • Ditched the old Options form and created a new Configuration form which is organized a bit more and uses a much more modern technique for persisting the configuration.
    • Detecting the drives in the Configuration form now means something.
    • Defaults to CBM Drive 8 until a default drive is selected.
    • Main form and Configuration form are localizable. Volunteers to localize the application are welcome. Post a comment to this blog entry if you want to help.
    • Ditched the INI file and am now using the standard .Net config file (GUI4CBM4WIN.exe.config).

Again, I’ve spent a lot of time testing this the last two days. I’m slowly but surely getting the code converted to something a bit more modern and it’s helping out with reliability and not breaking stuff when I change things.

      Please contact me by eMail:

      - I want to help with the localization (german)

      - want to know if your are using visual studio or something else (i prefer #develop), but doesnt’t really matter anyway.

      Great job so far
